: : Hi Robin, A question for you as i know you know about this sort of stuff.
: : Couple of weeks ago i posted about having 2 periods within 2 weeks both heavy!
: : 1 period came bang on time on the 24th then excatly 14 days later another one arrived.
: : I normaly expect my period around the 20th to the 24th of every month. Well its not arrived this time of the month so im wondering if my cycle could have changed to the time of when i had that second period.
: : I hope you get that as its confusing lol.
: : PS it that also a sign of pregnancy? and should i be worried if it don't show in the next 2 weeks?
: : Thanks for your help

: I know you were asking for Robin. I dont mean to butt in, but I know a little about what your talking about. If you have two periods in one month it could possibly very well mean a chemical embalance, and yes this can delay your period. And it can cause two periods in one month or irregular periods at that. And if your ovulation doesnt take place in the "normal spot it usually does "it can again, delay or make you not have a period for a long time untill you ovulate and once you ovualate it can make you have more then one period in that same month. It can make you have periods light or heavy of a reasonable amount (meaning you wont bleed to much ) but in an un- normall way.Meaning its not normall for you to have irregular periods all the time. ( Im copying a piece of paper I printed about this) And a chemical embalance - which can cause several and delayed periods and delayed ovulation can be do to cysts on ovaries, most of the time they are normal cysts and do go away. This does effect when the periods come and when ovualtion occurs and it can delay or make a period come faster then normal. And two periods can also mean that a cysts if you had one, well the cysts could have popped and made the blood which would have made you think you had two periods. ( it has the same feeling as periods do ) and it can last several days. And thats about it.
Thanks :) I guessed it could of been a hormone inbalance thing.
Urgh never heard of cysts bursting like that tho, thats scary! I also think i might just be regulating again due to having a baby 12 months ago. I dunno ill just wait and see if my next period comes in the next 2 weeks, if not ill see a doctor.
Thanks for the imput
