I am 11 weeks now and have had spotting off and on throughout this pregnancy. The doctor found that my spotting was due to some cells on my cervix... it's a long explanation, but they are normal cells that are usually covered by a "tougher" type of cell. Anyway, those cells "rupture" and cause spotting. Yours may be for a number of other reasons, or no reason at all. Discuss with your doctor, but don't panic because many women spot and have perfectly normal pregnancies. Always take it a a reminder to relax and rest! Good luck!
