Hi. I am 16 weeks PG with my first and have not had any morning sickness, but at my first prenatal the NP said that sometimes Prednizone is given for severe morning sickness, and it's actually a med that I take for completely separate reasons. I am on a low dosage, 10 mg every other day. I don't know if that helps but good luck on #3!
: Hello I am a mom of two beautiful children and would like to be pregnant again with number 3 but I have really bad (O.k out of this world) MORNING(ALL DAY)SICKNESS I have had 2 c-sections and they were not bad compared to my morning sickness. When I was pregnant with my son who is now 3 I was sick for 6 months with my little girl who is now 14 months I threw up everyday for 9 months. I was given Reglan, Phenergan and even Zolfran and none of it worked. I have been reading on the net about a drug called Diclectin which has a combo of doxylamine(which is sold as unisome over the counter),pyridoxine(Vitamin b-6) and dicyclomine which I'm not sure what that is,also I have heard some docters use Prednisone which I am not sure why because I have taken this med for Asthma and don't see how it could help with morning sickness and finally my gyn doctor recomended checking my thyroid because that also may be apart of my problem. If anyone has had this problem or has any advice for me please help. Thank you
