I have read that morning sickness stops by the 12th week. Is that 12 weeks from the 1st day of my last period or 12 weeks from conception? Weeks are quoted so often I find it confusing.

I understand that morning sickness is common; blah, blah, blah, but I am miserable! I am wondering how I can keep working when I am either a)nautious b)vomiting c)ravenously hungry or d)agonizing over how much longer I have to go before this so called "12 weeks". Can anyone offer some encouragement on how to make it through?
