birth control question

hi i my name is tracy i have a birth control pill question.....i was wondering if i take the pill and throw up like 10min later will that pill be like not go into effect? because i am sick rihgt now and you know how that goes and i just took my pill about 10min when i felt like throwing up again...just wanted to know so i won't be having intercourse...and if it doesn't effect anything if i take the pill the tomorrow will it still be effective? thanks for any help
