TTC-too much time has gone by, will it happen? help plz

okay so ive been ttc for a little over 12 months now, weve been bd'ing normally without any protection what so ever but yet im still not pg! i know my cycle days and when abouts i O and ive been keeping track of it al but dont always get to bd on the right days, but i have in the past so i dont understand why i cant get pg...its been a year...ive never heard of anyone whos taken this long whos actually TRYING. could there b sumthing wrong and thats why i havnt gotten pg yet in a year? im young and so is my fiance so everythng should b fine.
how long has it taken some of you?
