am i pregnant??? advice needed please...

well i stayed at my boyfriends for the new year and the 3 times we had sex everything was fine we chekced the condom and they had been used proeprley and hadn't burst etc...
well iw as due for my period on the 22nd of this month but 6 days later,nothing!
after 2 days iw as so worried i thort was everythign reely ok,but we chekced and they were fine..but just incase i took a pregnancy test which came back negative,another 2 days later my period still ahdn't come so i took anothe pregnancy test and still negative...
well ive been having headaches,and period pains,also a sharp stabbing pain above my belly button...which is reely strange,,ive had no spotting but some white discharge,my advisor said it was probably due to stress that ive missed my period as ive been thru alot recently...she sed it would be ok to start the pill as it had been past my due date so ive started taking the pill...was this a bad idea?
she also advised me to have a smear test just incase anythign was wrong?
i have no idea what on earth to do..ive been reely worried which is not nessessary cause i know im not pregnant or anything
advice would be most appreciated..

p.s also now that im on the pill but haven't had my *period* how long would it be till its safe for me to have unprotected sex with my boyfriend?
