I've always heard you have to be on the pill for a full cycle for it to be effective. I've also heard that if you miss more than 2 pills to stop taking them and wait for your next cycle. I wouldn't start worrying unless you miss your period. Even if the pill is taken faithfully, there is always a chance of getting pregnant.

: I recently started taking the pill, the injection was no good for me as it made me constantly feel bloated and put on huge amounts of weight. I feel great since coming off it but cant ignore the fact I needed safe protection. Therefore I started the pill, but, I started it the monday took it tues missed it wed took two on thurs and had sex on the fri but have missed it inbetween, does that make a difference or is there a chance that I could be preganant? or am I worrying over nothing?
