 Post subject: pregnancy and zofran

I took zofran for the first 16 weeks of pregnancy. My son was stillborn at 31 weeks. The doctors could not find a cause for his death and do not believe that the zofran contributed in any way. I am curious if anyone else has had a similar outcome.

I took zofran when I was pregnant w/ my last child. I had to take it by I.v in the hospital and then was sent home with a prescription which I then took. My little girl is now 2. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

I took zofran my whole pregnacy... My last term I started having complications, now my son is on diability and he is delayed in all areas!!
My son also has several health problems now!! The whole reason I am on these sites is trying to find out information because I am going to file a malpractice suite if I can get enough research!! I am so sorry for the loss of your son, but yes I do think Zofran has alot to do with the problems of children born to mothers taking zofran..

I just wanted to say that I am so very sorry for your loss. I suffered a stillbirth at 29 weeks. Unfortunatly, I can't help you out with the Zofran issue however. Mine still has no real answers... except that the doctor I was seeing at the time SHOULD have sent me to a specialist. I now see the best in the area and have a beautiful little girl, and another on the way. It is still very difficult to think of my first daughter I lost however, so best wishes to you... and good luck in your search for answers!

Amy
