Hi!! I am new to this board. I am about 11 weeks pregnant. I don't really feel that sick anymore but don't feel great either. When does your body start to feel somewhat normal? You know, like more energy and less sick feelings. Also, I am a little nervous about miscarriage and everything going well. When can I start mellowing out?

text book cases of morning sickness end around 12 weeks. i have experienced ends of 12, 15 and 17 weeks but all three cases have peaked in the middle weeks and gradually gotten easier as i came closer to the end. if you are feeling considerably better at this point consider yourself lucky; you probably only have a few more days to a week of mild sickness.

miscairrages are also most common in the first trimester. after the twelth week they are not due to developmental issues but any inability to carry the pregnancy you may have (much less common). ectopic pregnancy can also be ruled out at around the 8th week.

the fact that you had morning sickness indicates you have healthy hormone levels so i would relax and enjoy the next two trimesters.
