I am suffering 24 hour sickness with my third child, I am around 7 weeks pregnant, I have tried dry biscuits, and drunk litres of ginger ale till that too made me gag, I'm eating small meals through the day, I am wearing sea bands which kind of help, I have sniffed oranges and lemons, with no luck still feel terrible, I haven't tried Preggie pops, don't like sweet things, I am ok with salty savoury foods.I am suffering bad with this one, my other two weren't this bad!!! Surely someone has a remedy that can save me???? Any advice I will be grateful |

I am currently on Diclectin for my morning sickness, I am still vomitting on a daily basis but it has slowed down. I have not yet gotten sick today so I am assuming it works.

I know what you mean, I to am on dicelctin or however you spell it lol.
but I am really lucky this time around, I have probably thrown up about 5 times so far and I am 12 weeks now, but my other pregnancies I was sick for like 6 months, every day like clock work.
I tried eating crackers even before I got out of bed to go pee, and drank stale ginger ale. I mostly feel my sickness around supper time, when you have the best meal of the day!!!
Try eating some oranges, I got addicted to them and I seemed not to feel so sick.
Good luck Hun!!!! |

Lexi-
Yeah it takes a day or two to fully kick in but once it does it's HEAVEN! It's the same for coming off it, you've gotta keep trying b/c you never know when it is gone, so you've got about 1-2 days when you aren't taking the pills where you'll be ok then, if your all day sickness isn't gone, POW. Then you've gotta get back on them! That is the only part that sucks! |

Hi Janie...I'm in the same boat as you. I'm also in my third pregnancy and sick as a dog all day. My house is a mass, I don't have energy to get out of the bed and I'm afraid of the next morning....
A couple of pregnant ladies recomended me a HOMEOPATIC Remedy name NUX VOMICA 6X. I didi some research and it shows to be ok to use during pregnancy (actually it says is for morning sickness). I bought and took it. The first day it was a miracle....the nausea was over for 3 hours....Istill take it although it does not takes the nausea away 100% but it does help. Midwifes are ok with homeopatic remedies. Ask your doctors if you want to.
I hope it will help you.
